Fundraiser-Renovation Project
Give Me Shelter re-sale shop has been very successful and helpful to the community in which it serves. We have been blessed to be able to help so many. Recently the re-sale shop has been violated by the building dept. and in order to keep our doors open we must comply and correct several violations that have been brought to our attention. At this time Give Me Shelter is in dire need of your help! Some of the items and services needed will include electrical materials, fire extinguishers, illuminated exit signs, flooring, light fixtures, roofing material/labor & a certified electrician. We also need a working furnace. Monetary donations accepted as well. Thank you in advance on behalf of Give Me Shelter and the community in which we serve.
Fundraiser-Housing Project
In the past 2 years Give Me Shelter has successfully rehabbed 5 homes and has placed 5 deserving families from various domestic violence/homeless shelters throughout the community. Give Me Shelter was also able to furnish these homes from all of the generous donations that we have received. At this time Give Me Shelter would like to help rebuild the community in two ways by providing safe housing for families and/or group homes as well as beautifying the community one house at a time for more deserving families and individuals who are still residing in the shelters.
Although many of us may not want to acknowledge the fact that the end of the year is upon us yet again, we want to remind you that Give Me Shelter has many beneficial projects and great causes for you to direct your tax deductible donations.
